LIÉ'S GUIDE TO PARIS

Paris has a special place in our heart. We have been here numerous times and everytime we touchdown at Charles de Gaulle we are filled with excitement. We are excited to visit our favorite local places and are always pleased to see that they haven’t changed at all.

Every season the LIÉ team goes to Paris for Paris Fashion Week showcasing new collections to current and new retailers. It is always such a pleasure to catch up with familiar faces, and not to mention simply just being back in one of our favorite cities.

Scroll down to see some of the photos we snapped during our last time in Paris, and read our latest recommendations from the beautiful city of Paris down below.

Lots of love, Amalie & Cecilie

Eat here:

Racines /

A small Italien restaurant in Paris. Located in a beautiful passageway. Food is amazing. All appetizers are delicious and their pasta dishes are big and hearty. They send you off with a choux pastry ball - very cute.

LE PAIN RETROUVE /

You can’t go in here without leaving with your hands full of amazing baked goods.

Au Passage /

For relaxed dinners we would recommend Au Passage. The food is great, and so is their wine list. The atmosphere is wonderful and you almost feel local when you step inside.

Le Bon George / Located at the 9th. arr.

No doubt the best bistro food we had on this trip! Huge and perfectly curated wine list as well. The service is the best we have had in recent memory - and that happened in Paris!! (The cheeseboard is a must order!!)

Da L'as Du fallafel / Located at the 4th. Arr.
What else? Get here early to avoid the que. This is widely known as the best falafel pita in town and for the right reasons! The rule is clear: Buy your falafel pita and enjoy it at the Place des Vosges

Clown-Bar / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

Where to start? Great food, great service and fun experience - This is a great overall dining experience with a great vibe!
Bistrot Paul Bert /

The epitome of Parisian charm, with its cozy, vintage décor and a menu filled with classic French dishes that feel like a warm hug.

Drink here:

L’étincelle / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

Grab a stool and enjoy a beer or drink here with the afternoon sun. Good spot for people watching

KB COFFEE ROASTERS in the 9th arr.

A great corner spot for working or just people watching. Perfect for your daily dose of caffeine and the baked goods also looks yummy.

Bambino / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

Great natural wine bar. The atmosphere is just as is should be at a wine bar

Dreaming man / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

These Japanese guys are probably pouring the best cup of coffee in all of Paris. Perfect spot just to sit with a cup of coffee and pastry. Enjoy the amazing playlist !!

Enjoy these places:

Pied a terre /

Like the name, Pied a terre offers you a temporary home and residence curated beautifully by a handful of architects - if you’re looking for a place to stay that feels like home. Their spaces really give you a chance to live out your Parisian dreams.

Hôtel Rochechouart /

The ambience and interior here is so lovely, and we love the surrounding neighborhood that feels very local and away from the craziness of the city center. From the roof top you also have the most incredible view over Paris.

Luxembourg Gardens / Located at the 6th. Arr.

Bring a book or some cards, find a sunspot and just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Sometimes you can catch an intense tennis game as well!

Places des Vosges / Located between 3rd and 4th Arr.

Most definitely the best curated shop in all of Paris! Staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Château Voltaire / Located at 1st Arr.

A hidden Parisian gem, blending modern elegance with historic charm—think intimate spaces, lush greenery, and refined details that create a luxurious yet cozy retreat. A perfect haven for those seeking quiet sophistication in the heart of the city.

Centre Pompidou / Located at the 1.st Arr.

First of all - This museum is huge!! The architecture is fun and different, but most important is to check out their permanent collection!!

Shop here:

Officine Universelle Buly

They have a few locations in Paris. Beautiful old school stores with the chicest bathroom accessories. We personally love their combs, lip balms and toothbrushes. Great for souvenirs to bring back home.

Tom Grehound Paris / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

Most definitely the best curated shop in all of Paris! Staff is so friendly and welcoming.

You'll also find LIÉ STUDIO available here.

Dover Street Market /
Located at the 1st. Arr.
A vibrant, avant-garde shopping experience that feels more like an art gallery than a store.

Merci / Located at the 3rd. Arr.

We can’t go to Paris without shopping a bit of ceramics, lighters and other cute stuff at Merci
Walking in the streets of Paris - even though our first names sounds very French, we unfortunately don't speak a single word of French
